When we practice together, we inspire each other to what is possible.

At Samata, we cultivate our group classes to be a safe and supportive space for you to continue to grow your practice. These classes are challenging — be that physically or mentally — yet fun, and we intend our classes to be a place of learning and healing.

Everyone is always welcome. Unkindness will not be tolerated.

Samata Flow

Our signature 60-minute class connecting the flow of breath with mindful, hatha vinyasa movement. Suitable for all levels, this class encourages students to establish a steady anchor to the breath while engaging in dynamic postures.

Hatha Vinyasa

Our signature 75-minute class combines the grounding principles of Hatha Yoga with the fluid movement of Vinyasa. You'll experience a steady, mindful flow of postures focusing on alignment, strength and breath connection. The class offers a balance between active sequences and deeper holds, promoting both physical endurance and mental clarity. Suitable for all levels, it encourages a harmonious blend of effort and ease.

Samata Master Class

Our signature 90-minute yoga class offers many aspects of the practice in one fluid experience. For that reason, this class is open to all, but it is recommended to have some experience in asana prior to attending as we will expand and deepen upon these foundations.

Rise + Flow

Our Rise + Flow yoga class is an energizing morning practice designed to awaken your body and mind through dynamic, flowing sequences. With a focus on breath and movement, this class helps you build strength and flexibility while setting a positive tone for your day. It's a refreshing way to elevate your energy and cultivate mindfulness, suitable for all levels.

Bhakti Flow

Our signature Bhakti Flow is a practice rooted in devotion, inviting connection to the divine through movement, mantra, and meditation. Guided by love and surrender, this flow blends asanas with heartfelt intention, creating space for inner peace. It’s an opportunity in uniting body, mind, and spirit in a rhythm of devotion to all beings everywhere.

Harmonizing Yin

Our signature 60-minute Harmonizing Yin class centers around stillness in a curated sequence of yin yoga postures, allowing for a meditative experience. Yin yoga is the holding of postures in a relaxed state with the use of props. Suitable for all levels, this class unblocks and unwinds tension in the body-mind for a more peaceful inner state.

Harmonizing Yin + Sounds

A special take on our signature Harmonizing Yin, this 75-minute class ends with a sound healing experience. The harmony of yin yoga and sound offers a meditative experience with the frequency of 7 crystal sound bowls, koshi chimes and gong. Suitable for all levels, this class encourages deep relaxation, healing and restoration.

Energizing Yin

Our signature 60-minute Energizing Yin class begins with a standing qi gong practice, followed by restorative, yin yoga postures held in a relaxed state with the use of props. Suitable for all levels, this class encourages relaxation and meditative movement to unwind tension in the body-mind.

Kirtan

Kirtan is a practice to come together and sing the names of the divine through mantra. Chanting kirtan is a devotional practice that helps to uplift the mind, open the heart and bring inner peace. It is the fastest, easiest and most joyful way to achieve peace of mind as we connect through our hearts. You are welcome as you are, no experience needed in any way. This practice is for all. You can sit in reflection, perhaps with the eyes closed, or you may share through voice if you feel called to.

Prasad is a gift given graciously and shared between the Divine and the individual(s) making the offering. At its essence, it symbolizes receiving and giving between the Divine and human — illustrating grace, divine love and connection. Come and enjoy the offering of food and tea and community! All are always welcome. If you would like to bring something (though it is not necessary), we ask that the dish be vegan.

Special Classes

Ranging from experiential to philosophical, these classes bring in teachers from all over to share intimate aspects of the yogic practice in various formats. We value the timeless tradition of individual, private learning, while also cultivating the growth of a community in which we can joyously support and inspire one another.
